Earlier this year, Brooksby Melton College was honoured to host the 11th  annual Student Animal Welfare Conference, which saw third year Animal Management and Equine Management students from BMC and three other Higher Education establishments present the results of their research projects, undertaken as part of their degree studies. Other colleges included Moulton College, Hartpury College and Writtle College.

Selected students were invited to  present and discuss their dissertation work, either as verbal presentations or academic poster, and prizes were awarded for the best presentations in each category.

Events like this are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate academic research, and for students to meet and learn from peers with similar interests. It was a fantastic day, and a true testament to the hard work and dedication shown by all students to their studies!
